1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Harib ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. What Harib is
Harib is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of electronics. We provide the platform and tools — but we are not a party to any transaction between users. Harib does not own, sell, buy, inspect, or guarantee any items listed on the platform.
3. Account requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Harib.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Listings and content
- All listings must be for real electronics that you currently own or are authorized to sell.
- Descriptions, photos, and specs must be accurate and not misleading.
- You must not list stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited items.
- Pricing should be honest. Bait-and-switch pricing is not allowed.
- You retain ownership of content you post but grant Harib a license to display, distribute, and promote it on the platform.
5. Prohibited items
The following items may not be listed on Harib:
- Stolen property or items obtained illegally.
- Counterfeit or replica electronics.
- Items that violate intellectual property rights.
- Weapons, drugs, or any items prohibited by local law.
- Items with removed or tampered serial numbers.
- Software licenses obtained fraudulently.
6. Buying and selling
- Transactions are between buyers and sellers. Harib is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
- Users are encouraged to inspect items in person before completing a transaction.
- Payment terms are agreed upon between buyer and seller. Harib does not process payments.
- Both parties should act in good faith. Failing to show up, providing false information, or engaging in fraud may result in account suspension.
7. Reviews and reputation
- Reviews must be honest and based on a real interaction or transaction.
- Fake reviews, review manipulation, or review extortion are strictly prohibited.
- Harib reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms.
- Seller tiers and badges are earned through legitimate activity and may be revoked for violations.
8. Community guidelines
- Be respectful in all interactions — messages, reviews, and community posts.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory language.
- No spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional manipulation.
- No impersonation of other users, brands, or organizations.
- Report violations rather than engaging with them directly.
9. Intellectual property
The Harib name, logo, design, and all platform content (excluding user-generated content) are the property of Harib. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding without written permission. If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on the platform, contact us at hello@harib.app.
10. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service.
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or prohibited content.
- Engage in scams or deceptive behavior.
- Receive repeated reports from other users.
- Attempt to manipulate the platform (fake accounts, fake reviews, etc.).
We will attempt to notify you before suspension when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately in cases of fraud or safety concerns.
11. Limitation of liability
Harib provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- The quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of items listed.
- The behavior, actions, or reliability of other users.
- Financial losses resulting from transactions on the platform.
- Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues.
Your use of Harib is at your own risk. We encourage all users to follow our Safety Tips for every transaction.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from your use of Harib shall be resolved in the courts of Pakistan.
