Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Price in Pakistan & Review

Motorola is back in Pakistan properly, and it just made the most awkward day of the year for Vivo and Samsung.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is on sale here with official warranty at Rs 139,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage — and online retailers are already shaving that towards Rs 135,000. For that you get a 7,000mAh battery, 68W charging, a 144Hz curved AMOLED that hits 5,200 nits, a real ultrawide camera, and IP68 plus IP69 water and dust protection.

Put simply: at this price, nothing else in Pakistan offers this much. We have gone through every rival below, and we are giving it a Harib Pick.

Watch the unboxing first

Pakistan's own VideoWaliSarkar titled his unboxing "Kamaal Kardia!!" — and 166,000 people watched it in two days. It is the best way to see the size, the finish and what is in the box before you read a word of spec sheet.

If gaming is your question, MAS TECH ran a PUBG test at 90fps in their own Pakistani unboxing the same day.

The five things that make it

1. The battery — without the brick

7,000mAh is enormous. Most phones at any price sit at 5,000–5,500mAh. In real-world testing reviewers got more than seven hours of screen-on time and over two days of mixed use at high refresh rate.

And it is 8mm thick and 193g. Silicon-carbon battery chemistry packs more energy into the same space, which is why this does not feel like the rugged power-bank phones batteries this size used to demand.

2. It charges fast enough that you stop thinking about it

68W takes it to roughly 50% in about 25 minutes and full in around an hour. A 7,000mAh phone that fills in an hour is a completely different daily experience from one that needs an overnight charge.

3. A genuinely flagship-grade screen

144Hz is smoother than the 120Hz almost everything else here runs. 5,200 nits peak brightness means it stays readable on a Lahore street at 2pm in June. And it is a sharp 1.5K panel with Gorilla Glass 7i on top.

4. IP69 is not a marketing line in Pakistan

IP68 means immersion. IP69 means resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, which is normally rugged-industrial territory. Combined with 1.2-metre drop resistance, this is a phone built for dust, monsoon and being dropped on a tiled floor.

5. A real second camera

The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 with optical stabilisation, which produces good dynamic range in daylight. Crucially, alongside it is a proper 13MP ultrawide — not a 2MP "depth sensor" filler. That matters for the comparison below.

What it does not do well

Picking it does not mean pretending it is perfect.

Curved edges cause accidental touches. At least one reviewer reported unintended taps and swipes several times a day, and cases cannot fully cover a quad-curved screen. Some people never notice; some hate it. Hold one in a shop before you buy.

The ultrawide is weaker than the main camera. It exists and it works, but in tougher light its shots can look over-processed, with purple fringing in fine detail. Image processing can also feel slow when shooting and sharing quickly.

No telephoto. Zoom beyond about 5× falls apart.

Updates are fine, not class-leading. Three Android updates and four years of security patches is respectable, but not the longest in this bracket.

No microSD. The 256GB is what you get.

Not a gaming flagship. It handles demanding games at high settings with good thermals — a stress test only moved it from 30°C to 36°C — but if you want the absolute best frame rates, you need a Snapdragon 8-series phone at nearly double the price.

A note on the chip, because sources disagree: the Edge 70 Fusion ships with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 in most markets and a 7s Gen 4 in India. Benchmarks put the two within the margin of error of each other, and Qualcomm itself claims only about 7% between them. Whichever one your unit carries, performance is effectively the same — and both clearly beat the chip in the Vivo below.

The comparison that decides it

vs Vivo V80 Lite — the one it embarrasses

We reviewed the Vivo V80 Lite just weeks ago and could not give it a badge. Here is why the Edge 70 Fusion makes that decision even easier:

Motorola Edge 70 FusionVivo V80 Lite (256GB)
PriceRs 139,999Rs 145,999

Refresh rate144Hz120Hz
Peak brightness5,200 nits~2,000 nits

The Motorola is Rs 6,000 cheaper and better on almost every line that matters. The Vivo keeps a slightly longer security-patch promise and 50mAh more battery. That is it.

vs Samsung Galaxy A57

Samsung's official store lists the Galaxy A57 from around Rs 150,000 for 8GB/256GB. The Motorola undercuts it by roughly Rs 10,000 while offering more RAM and a far larger battery with much faster charging.

What Samsung still wins on is brand trust, service-centre coverage across Pakistan, and resale value — genuinely real advantages that are worth paying for if you keep phones for years and sell them afterwards.

vs Redmi Note 15 Pro+

Around Rs 175,000 from official dealers. The Edge 70 Fusion is Rs 35,000 cheaper. For most buyers that gap is the whole decision.

vs its own sibling, the Moto G77

Our other Harib Pick, the Moto G77, is around Rs 95,000 with 256GB. The Edge 70 Fusion costs about Rs 45,000 more and buys you a much faster chip, 7,000mAh versus 5,200mAh, 68W versus 30W, 144Hz, IP69, and 12GB of RAM. The G77 keeps a microSD slot, a 108MP main camera, and a much lower price.

If Rs 95,000 is your ceiling, the G77. If you can stretch to Rs 140,000, the Edge 70 Fusion is the better phone by a clear margin.

Who should buy it

Buy the Edge 70 Fusion if you want the best all-round phone Pakistan sells at Rs 140,000: two-day battery, fast charging, a superb bright screen, real water resistance and official warranty. For most people in this bracket, this is simply the answer.

Buy a Galaxy A57 instead if Samsung's service network and resale value matter more to you than Rs 10,000 and a bigger battery.

Buy the Moto G77 instead if your budget stops near Rs 100,000.

Look elsewhere if you need a telephoto camera, or you already know you hate curved screens.

Why this is a Harib Pick

We give a verdict badge when one label tells the truth for most readers. Unlike the V80 Lite, it does here.

At Rs 139,999 with official warranty, the Edge 70 Fusion undercuts every direct rival we checked while beating them on battery, charging, display brightness and refresh rate, and it does not cut the corner that sank the Vivo — it has a real second camera. The curved edges and middling ultrawide are real, and we have said so plainly. They are not enough to change the answer.
